People wonder why I chose Wicca? I spent YEARS getting talked down to and having agendas shoved down my throat at the hands of "organized religion". I'll stick to pagan thanks. I don't have to pay someone to talk to "god" for me, and the religious holidays are a hoot

we had jehovas witnesses across the streeet from us. it was really weird how agressive they were. they kept coming over all the time with my dad and mom literally telling them to fuck off and stay off the property. the next saturday, they would come again.
i remember being in school and talkign to this girl i really liked and she told me she was a jehovas witness etc. i didn't really know what it meant or anything. then she started telling me about all the cool shit that was gonna happen when she dies and that she couldn't wait to die. it was really disturbing to look at a beautiful, young girl say crap like that. so i went and got some books and i was stunned when i started reading... "dinosaurs are a lie and never existed" etc etc. crazy stuff.
