I tried a mojito a few months ago in Mexico and every since then I?ve been craving them. They are absolutely delicious!!! For some reason there are a lot of bars and clubs around my area that don?t make them for some reason. So, I?m going solo on the venture.
Here is a tutorial on how to make them?..just thought I would share with you all.

The incredients and tools: A jigger (measuring tool), soda siphon, brown sugar, Havana Club rum, a muddler, two limes, two collins glasses, spoon and fresh mint.

Starting with sugar and mint: Sugar and mint are placed in the glass. Next a splash of soda is added.

Muddling: Sugar, mint and a splash of soda water are muddled.

Building the drink: After muddling, lime juice, crushed ice and rum are added. The drink is then briefly stirred and after stirring the spent half of a lime is rested of the ice for a layer of garnish.

Finishing the build: More crushed ice is added to cover the lime hull. Some room is left for soda water which is used to fill the glass.

Ready to drink: Mint is added for garnish after topping the glasses with soda.
