I'd definately check. I have Geico and it's only a $50 deductable for windshield coverage. If there's something wrong on the inside, they replace it completely. If it's on the outside and smaller than a dolalr bill, they send someone out to try to repair it first.
My girlfriend uses Nationwide and her windshield coverage is 100% (she doesn't pay a penny no matter what).
