not sure about other countries, but in australia you can get a GPO box to have ur mail sent to...its located at the post office.

so i got this idea when i was living 80km from the city and i had to travel everyday to the city to check the box...

i figured it would be better if, everyday when they sort the box mail at 5am,if you got mail thry would sms text message ur cell, so u didnt waste time travelling int city... most oost offices in australian cities are THE center of town, u never get a parking space for miles, its hell.

anyhow, couple of years later friends back home tell me Australia Post now offer this But they charge a monthly fee (on top of regular box fees).

another idea of mine was hand print id at atm and eftpos machines because i always loose my card... someone developed it soon after but it never caught on...guess peeps aee scared of getting their hands sliced off by muggers
