I started off in the other camp - I rolled my eyes and ignored the first four seasons, then was totally sucked in.. The show kicks ass.
And yes, I do happen to have "Conversations with Dead People" on my hard drive. ;>

the first 4 seasons were probably the best
the new season starts tommorrow night here (we're a season behind here or something - this will be the first episode after buffy's death)
