Being that I was raised in the church and had a Preacher/Pastor Grandfather, I'm fucking shocked...I've heard enough sermons to know that most of it is bullshit and I'm now way too old to fall for the okey doke.

If this is true, when somebody gives up something for christianity, more than likely you gotta give up the ASSETS that you gained from your devilish profession.
