Odds are your child is not special unless it rides a damn yellow bus to school. Though I am pretty sure that is not the special you desire to have associated with the fruit of your forgetfulness to use birth control.
Nor are they miracles, you fucked, someone got pregnant, you had a kid. Trust me there is no miracle about it and if you disagree my former cat needs to be granted sainthood then.
They also should not be your best friend, and they will and should loose. Not everyone comes in first place. Life is full of disappointment and not winning. Stop prepping them to think everything is fair and that there are no winners and losers as long as everyone plays. Everyone should not get fucking trophies for just showing up. People must realize that these kids will grow up expecting the same damn shit. Sure some may adjust and well others will get picked on or rejected by some chick and then use up valuable news coverage while they shoot up some school. Life is cruel, teach them that sooner please.
