V / MC has (back) charged brick and mortar businesses 1-2-3% of the amount that was charged for years. "Right to accept their cards" or some nonsense.
That hadn't soaked all the way in until we were talking about it here last night. One of our friends loses up to 8% of his sales profits that way.
And they have to agree to NOT jack up their prices to try and recoup it!!!!
Thieves comes to mind!
