Even more good news, the doctor that told us he had a glioma brain tumor asked for a second opinion and they are very positive that they will be able to treat Samuel and that it might not be a "glioma" type of tumor after all.
That doctor is so stupid. How come he's giving us horrible news when he wasn't sure himself and needed opinions from other doctors. He should've waited a little longer. We got a call on Sunday from him to come as quickly as possible... Telling us it can't be treated in Canada. Then 2 days later he says it's possible.. What the hell.
The surgery should be in 2-3 weeks in Montreal!!! After that he will receive Radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatment. They should be able to remove a large part of the tumour with the surgery alone.
Thank God we went to Sainte-Justine when we got worried, 2 months later and maybe it would've been a different situation.
This is really good news.. We still have to go back for scanner tests but at least we know he will be treated here. Both my wife and I can't believe it. There's always hope..
