Sounds like TOTAL bullshit introduced by the car industry to make your cars feel newer than they are, or make yourself feel like they are "newer" longer.
So this guys 3 series will be new for 2 years!! It will be an '07 throughout '06 and oh wait! it will STILL be an '07 in all of '07.
