I have not used the program your talking about, but I don't understand how even a small company could not take the proper steps as to account for all web traffic from their program members as to cover some of the damage from situations like this...
Why had this company not placed a proper "Sry page" with a redirect to another of its services in place of the one that is down... just to notify its members...
Perhaps this company was just going under ???
