a year or 2 ago I wanted to go with a rear projection SONY
but my TV is playing many hours a day (just on, not always watching it), and I've read the lifetime of those bulbs wasn't all that great and they weren't cheap
you're looking at the good TV brand tho, don't want anything else but SONY either
