And also i forgot to mention, i value our prison sentances. They might often be unfair. But our longest sentance is 21 years in prison.
And for people that need an explanation:
I think that one of the greatest threats to democracy is life sentance. Just imagine how "easy" it is to put away someone simply because he is an inconvenience.
The mafia could pay their way OUT of a sentance, i'm sure certain people can pay (or fabricate evidence) to get someone convicted.
