My dog does the same with bigger male dogs only. He's a male though so I think its a dominance thing. He wont attack a female or a smaller dog though. And he's a sweetheart with ppl and kids. never even growled at anybody... I think your dog just has caracter; just be careful cuz she might get her ass kicked for good at some point. Although it doesnt seem to fix the problem. Not with mine anyway
