If I had the log, I'd post it too. Unfortunately, I reformatted my hard drive when I rebuilt my computer not too long ago. You didn't get the server and you know exactly why.
This thread started on "07-08-2002 05:26 PM" and a few days later I announced you the winner. I sent you multiple emails and countless ICQs so we could get you setup. You didn't have the courtesy to even return my messages so we could get you started. I waited several weeks and then ultimately just let it go.
Three months later, or thereabouts, you reappear on my ICQ and ask if you can have the server. You tell me that you went to some other hosting company but now you're broke again or something and could really use the server. My answer after careful comtemplation, NO.
I'm a person of my word, everyone knows that, but I'm also a person of principle. The spirit of this contest was helping someone to get an immediate boost in their business. Re-read the thread. So, on a technicality perhaps I should give you the hosting... but on principle: Go Fuck Yourself. You wasted my time and everyone elses. And now, like a bitch, you're here whining on the board for sympathy.
You won a contest for two months of free hosting and after three months of not having the common courtesy of returning my messages you appear out of the blue asking if you could still have it. I engaged everyone in good faith with all intentions of awarding a server. I did. It seems the winner of the contest was really a loser after all.
If I was going to give away a server right now, I'd rather give it to someone with decency and manners. It's two full months after the award would have been satisfied, quit your whining.
I held the contest in good faith. I made countless attempts to get you going and like an ass you ignored them. Now you're going to bring this to the boards and suggest that I just blew you off? Shame on you.
That's the story of what happened. I'm sure the audience here will be divided on my actions, but that's GFY.
Night everyone, I'll revisit this in the morning
