A peek into the mind of the Lefty - Webby would rather wait until Chavez absolutely proved beyond doubt that he a danger. Say, by allowing Iran to ship a nuke to a US refinery in a Venezuelan tanker, or by supporting a left-wing coup or whatever.

People with sense realise that it is better to nip problems in the bud. Since we know Chavez is a lunatic, since he tells us every chance he gets that he a lunatic, since he hangs out with other lunatics, lunatics who chant "death to America and all infidels", we know it's better to stop him BEFORE he can ship that nuke or fund that coup or whatever.

Bush is fairly dangerous, but not nearly enough, to governments who sponsor terrorism. He should be far more so. He should make the scumbags fear him.
