Sure.. there is a claim by Coronel of "infiltration" by Hezbollah and this has been purveyed around blogs and the usual slanted websites - along with the usual range of diversions. Coronel is the only person with "proof" - unfortunately he can't provide this.
When challenged (June 2006) even the traditional "US spokesman" had to admit there was "no proof Hezbollah has set up operations in Venezuela".

The constitution has never been changed and contrary to claims otherwise, - Chavez has announced on many occasions he has no intention of standing for longer than two terms of office.

The thing is, that since you are on the hard left, it's known that what you say is [almost certainly] way, way lower in importance than someone who is not on the hard left, even before you put finger to keyboard.
As soon as someone like myself, or 12clicks, or one of the more rational people on the board come in, you're stuck. That's just how it is for hard lefties. Although you have to accept some responsibility for yourself, it's probably more to do with your genes and upbringing. Lefties are perfectly ok when it comes to completing a task they are given, but when it comes to thinking for themselves, they fail almost every time. To think that Hugo Chavez is a 'great guy' when all the evidence is to the contrary is exceptionally poor.
