To think that is just straight out silly. (the alien part)
Odds alone dictate that there would be hundreds if not tens of thousands of planets that went through and are near identical to the formation of the earth, in that just perfect orbit. Even if they never developed life like ours, even single cell bacteria would count.
What I find funny though is what you said. Seems as if you think there is no God, then why not aliens? What would make Earth oh so special if there was not divine intervention creating it. Or if there was no divine intervention in its creation then why can there not be alien life forms elsewhere since scientifically it is not only more than likely, mathematically it would be near impossible for there not to be.
