GFY... Oh, sorry, I went for canceled drama, there.
1) NewsRadio - It had the perfect combination of slapstick and 'thinking man's' humor. It just kicked ass. Phil Hartman kicked ass. Office Fued - Rocket Fuel Malt Liquor
2) Frontline (AU) - Rob Stitch as a dipshit anchor way over his head who constantly gets lied to and abused, then starts to get smart. - My Generation - Mike stats feeling old
3) Profit - Tale of a psychopath who weasels his way into a corporate ladder and slowly takes over after getting the head thrown in prison for things he didn't do. Movie / Promo intro
4) Action - The greatest Jay Mohr show that never was. Peter Dragon, a movie producer who has a foul mouth and more aggression than guys with tesosterone three hundred times his size. Started out by making gay porn movies, and worked his way up. Damn, they were all good.
5) Strangers with Candy - Jerri Blank is a nearly 50 year old highschool dropout; got deep into drugs and prostitution and is all worn out. Now, she's cleaning up and trying to go straight. Biting sarcasm and wit in an afterschool special format. Killed because Comedy Central decided to steal Colbert for the Daily Show. "I'm a bumblebee, and I have to get back to the hive!"
6) The Office (UK) - I saw a couple of the first shows of the US version. They were exact copies of the UK show, and the flow just wasn't there. The Gervais one has some subtle wit (none of Gervais' annoying doing, of course), and it's just a great tale about how sad it is to be English. Christmas Special.
