cams.com commissions
One thing we noticed about cams.com: since they introduced the 'up front' commission payment at the start of August, sales almost halved overnight. No change in the volume of referers, uniques, free signups, or anything else, just a 50% overall reduction in commission payments. And no, it wasn't that the big spenders were away on summer vacation, because they didn't come back ;)
What would help curb much of the scam speculation, and what would ultimately help savvy web marketers to drive more traffic, would be to provide a set of useful statistics (hourly hits, real time spend, some indication of who is a returning customer and who is a new sale).
