What do you really want in RSS content?

In my efforts to make my newest program the best, I'm determined to drop crazy useful RSS feeds for my new sites...however, I'm seeing a lot of basically the same thing offered in rss as in hosted tgp's (just that it is an rss feed)...anyone can just convert tgp's to XML if that was the case.

Something tells me there is something lacking here in what people really want in a good RSS feed and what's being mainly delivered. The program owners are not usually the guys running blogs and the sort so there's a communication gap.

So what is it that you RSS users really want/need if you could have exactly what you need?(within reason, no, I can't make an RSS feeds that shoots money into your computer...)?

Educate us program owners.
