the obvious: "hope she was worth it"

To bad we don't have more details, like are they married and is the car in both their names. He'd have to sue her for waste or some sort of tort if she owned the car too. The remedy would be the value to the loss or damage, I'd assume. Prolly varies a bit state to state. Not attorney and so just lay speculation.
