thats kinda funny actually.... i turned it into a business and started to hate it. later, i moved to russia and started training 2-3hrs a day for about a year and eventually got more into work than training.
karate (or any martial arts) is demanding. its not like weight lifting where you can just go when you have free time. with martial arts, you pretty much have to structure your life around it and the training schedule and thats hard to do for any real period of time. also, i started shotokan and was more impressed with the people i was training with (Russians in eastern Russia all trained by Kanazawa himself -
http://www.fightingmaster.com/legends/kanazawa/) so it was real hardcore and a real eye opener. i liked it... but when i moved, i stopped. its hard to find great people to train with in a particular style if you move around.
