tae kwon do in the US is pathetic. its not "martial arts" - its jumping around like a poorly trained gymnast on crack, trying to do impractical shit because it looks impressive, while some dork who got his black belt in 6 months of training tells you that you will be catching bullets with your teeth in no time.

although good and bad trainers do exist in any style, martial arts in the US is mostly bullshit and tae kwon do is by far the worst offender in my opinion.
