Never having been a smoker, I can't say the best way to quit. I never wanted to smoke, but watching my dad unable to breathe and finally holding his hand while he DIED of emphysema would have cured any impulse I had to smoke. Unfortunately my little sister smokes in spite of having these memories, so apparently smoking holds some wonderful magical thrill that overcomes even the worst images you could associate with smoking. I want to wring her neck for continuing to smoke.
