Depends on the DJ. I'd rather listen to slightly less crappy band than a really crappy DJ.

I've seen 100s of DJs and bands (many of the worlds best Djs) and for CLUBBING, DJ is the only way to go imo. A DJ with a dude playing drums is cool if its a tribal style.
