It's kinda a given that that people were going to start dieing because of the dust that was in the air. You're talking entire buildings that went down with massive dust and smoke clouds.. Who know's what the hell was in that air, but one thing is for sure it wasn't anything good.
It's also pretty typical of this govt to pretend like nothing is wrong.. Look at the first Gulf War Syndrome. Do they even admit that's real yet?
If they admit there is a problem then they have to help pay for it. Much cheaper to ignore it as long as they can.
