in a bold and slightly scary fast move, lee.loo and i have picked up and moved back to the valley of the sun, phoenix, az. i thought my smooshy pug-nosed dog might hate me even more for bringing her to 100+ degree heat than for the move to my hometown and her warehouse/rooftop lifestyle in oakland, but it's crazy, she loves it here! i never knew my pug chased lizards until this last week.

okay, so i see PHX is still hot, i see there are still bugs that buzz in the trees and that the golf courses are all still green - but it seems the PHX metro area has grown about 50 blocks in all directions - so for all of you who already live here, what's new to do? i keep thinking i'm 20 blocks over and it's all looking the same. gimme locations!

favourite place to keep cool?

best places to take naughty pictures outdoors without getting caught?

(don't worry, i've been busy...understatement of the year award goes to me. i can't say i didn't miss living somewhere i felt like taking my clothes *off* rather than having to layer more clothes *on* - ick!)

lee.loo & i moved into our own place and i think she's happy i've found her a suitable home with air conditioning. even in the bay area, i couldn't take her out without her panting like crazy - here she's happy inside and for a few trips to play outdoors on the lawn she is content. i could tell my precious puggy was never made for oakland rooftop livin' - even if she tried.

"bye bye oak-town, we'll be back to visit soon!"
