I don't see anyone sobbing about it constantly or not getting over it. Personally I never stop moving on from any problem or negative occurance, so I'm not sure who it is you're aiming your little tirade at.
But at the same time I see no room for classless clueless tactless ill-timed attempts at "humor" where this particular tragedy is concerned. You may think otherwise and consider laughing about it as a sign of moving forward. I don't. I move forward in other more positive ways, but never forget the tragedy itself.
