I don't understand where everyone gets this perception that Scottsdale is all that. Truth be told, Scottsdale is actually a very large city (square mileage) so it has its bad parts and good ones.
The "I live in Scottsdale" hush part of town

The "I live in Scottsdale" decent part of town
east of shea road/101
The "I live in Scottsdale" but I would rather not talk about it because you are not worthy
east of pima/north of Thompson peak
For all you folks thinking of moving to Arizona, Scottsdale is NOT the BEST of locations. Hell if you are looking to hang with "money" move to fountain hills, Paradise Valley, or cave creek for that matter.
Don't believe the hype..
