Now as for quality - my main #1 priority was support and quality bandwidth. Both equally important. I had some qualms about net performance of my server, and I had a good 3 hour session with SplitNinja on AIM tuning and tweaking the server right down to the TCP/IP stack. I'm no idiot when it comes to how shit works, but I learnt a lot in that session and we pinpointed the problem to how FreeBSD implemetns the TCP/IP stack. After further tweaking, everything is top notch. And the bwidth is quality.
Now, who else is going to spend 3 hours arsing around with a customer to peak out a few extra KB/s bandwitdh from their server? And I even chose to manage the server myself. A1 support.
And they gave me a visa gift card preloaded with $1000 to buy my wife a nice pressy for her 40th.
'Nuff said.
