Acetaminophen hurts your liver, not ibuprofen. Ibuprofen causes more stomach/intestinal/GI problems.
A lot of the prescription strength ibuprofen is 800 mgs a tab, so I don't think it will hurt you for a short period of time. You're in a third world country- can't you get pain meds pretty much anywhere?? Or heroin?
