Had a tooth pulled 24 hours ago and it broke apart and they had to go digging for the root. Not a good time at the dentist but all they gave me was Ibuprofen for the pain.

24 hours later I still am in a TON of pain, and the 400mg 3x a day pills they gave me have turned into 800mg every 2 hours. I'm good for 2 hours then the pain comes quickly.

I know Ibuprofen can be bad for you and you can take too much. 3200mg max daily I think I read.

Any of you have any experience taking high dose amounts of Ibuprofen for just a few days?
