yabb dies out with the dinosaurs - even in 2002 it was dead in the water - unless its had a new resurgance that i'm unaware of

as for PHPBB it is THE best and if you get PHPBBFM it kick ass over vbulletin - it has 490+ hacks already installed - you can do all the ad managemnet from the bank end and can have nice features such as inline ads
