It all depends on their contract. Pure content girls somethimes have no clue who they are. The go to a shoot, get paid, and go home. The content production company sells them as exclusive or non-exclusive content and the ultimate content owner will have rights to make up whatever name they want for her.
Solo girls are a different story because they are marketing their name as a brand. You will see them on other sites. But there is usually some cross promotion and traffic trades going on behind the scenes.
