I personally never thought I'd need 1000's of GB's of HD space. Not many years ago I thought 160gb HD was enormous.

I have to agree that this will be usefull to most one day. But right now the only reason why somebody will use theses are probably content shooters and video editors.
It will be too expensvie for the commons to buy it within the next couple years probably...
