The country?s missile defense system passed a crucial test today as an interceptor missile launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California picked off a target missile over the Pacific Ocean, the Pentagon announced.
?I?m pleased to announce that the test that we executed today was a total success,? General Obering, the director of the Missile Defense Agency, said at a news briefing. ?In fact, it exceeded even our primary objective on the test. And we also met all the secondary objectives of the test.?

Back to the subject - good news dear boy! It's nice to know the bunker hatches can be battened down and the seige mentality is embedded
To make real progress - try doing ten tests/day at a cost of $750mill. Sure, it means more taxes, but hey - it's in a good cause. Should take less than a year for the nation to reach the poverty line
