Although I'm normally a huge fan of Wordpress I just HAD to share this with you all that think Wordpress isn't a resource hog

I had Wordpress installed on a dedicated box with 1GB of RAM and Wordpress was using 700MB of it, maxing out the RAM, then heading over to swap for ANOTHER 1GB and it still wanted more

The site was only at 10k/day average

I'm no longer a believer in the "Wordpress isn't a hog" cult

I removed Wordpress as the weapon of choice and now there's 800MB of free RAM
