I have quite a few of my own ideas for niche mainstream sites I want to create (which I know have vey little competition). What kind of server/bandwidth does a 50K mainsteam site need?
Thanks for the reply Equinox I appreciate it man

The backlinks are 98% natural. The beauty about mainstream is that the site owners will link to you if you have quality content (unlike the cut-throat adult admins whose traffic is oh-so-precious), I only bought a handful of backlinks from quality sites.
Currently, I have two dual xeons with 4GB RAM and a SCSI raid0 powering the forum, one web server, one dedicated db box. I host em with the good folks in my sig </plug>
vB is very server intensive, as you can see on GFY being fucked up all the time.
P.S. I updated the graphs, with a little luck, I'll hit a million uniques for August today.
