This is straight up bullshit...A lot of people do abuse and eat poorly...But, I'm a frigging rabbit, literally...My calorie intake is well under 1000...My diet literally consists of lots of green leafy stuff...Carrots, Bell peppers, etc...etc...Lots of salad w/o dressing...Use tofu instead...Yes, the pounds do not come off...The thing is, I've always been like this...Always been a strict vegetarian...According to my dietitian, my average calorie intake is under 700...That's unbelievably low...Highly surprised him...Maybe with others it's not, but I have had my thyroid tested and pretty much everything else the doctor could think of to test...I'm healthy as a horse, but unfortunately, also as big as one...Unfortunately, there is no actual *proof* just yet as to exactly what the gene is that causes this.

If fat is a gene, then why is it that obesity is really rampant in certain countries? Like anybody that's traveled a bit will notice that in the states, the % of obese people is much much higher than the rest of the world. It's not because Americans have a fat gene, it's because portions in restaurants are ridiculously large. It follows at home. The attitude of "Bigger is better" has dribbled down to nutrition and unfortunately there are a lot of large people now. I spoke to a woman in California who was telling me that she didn't know how to get her son to control his weight, and according to her it was because he played video games. As she's saying this, I see her son downing 6 Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Christ, buy the kid a carrot! Parents don't want to accept that they're not feeding their kids very nutritious food at home, so they'll blame everything else. In reality, it's more of an attitude. Eat balanced, get SOME exercise and that's it. Resist some urges once in a while and you'll be fine.

I don't like excuses. Yes, some people have great metabolisms, some have poor metabolisms. Fact of life, deal with it, don't make it an excuse.

If Fat was a gene, why is there nobody affected by this in 3rd world countries?
And to Mr. "No fat people in 3rd world countries" you fucking bigot, it's called their literally STARVING and malnourished...Any country with a healthy economy and where famine/disease is not an issue there are overweight people.

Go fuck yourself McAttack
