Personally, I always find it kind of odd that so many people (non-Americans) have so little pride and respect for what their countries have done for them and the people who built those countries up to what they are today.
dont get me wrong i LOVE canada, i really do, this thread is not about that, i just feel america has more to offer,

i will always have respect for the country (i am in miss atm) when my dad lost his job about 10 years back, (he is educated egineer for that matter) he could not find a job in Canada, America took him in and now he is only a couple of years from retirement this would never be possible without the ole usa.

i would have more pride for canada if the french would have seperated, 80% of this country dislikes them and the other 20% are frenchmen themselves (like postwhore the whiner).
