Well... it's a bit of 2+2 isn't it?
He's the kid of one of the richest arab families. Arab families have their fingers in oil. Bush and co. have their fingers in oil too. For all you know, the wealthy arabs may have just told Bush and co. "do all you want, but leave OBL alive..."
So Bush and co walk away and say to themselves... "y'know, if we can't kill him, maybe we can use him as a perpetual recurring excuse to do shit..."
Yeah. It's a conspiracy theory. I'm not a fan of them either, but this one actually makes more sense to me than what the gov't has been saying lately.
