As I understand it, there are lots of job opportunities for heath care providers, so I hope you also told her to put some clothes on and get out there and look for a real job (steady income) if she wants to keep her house and all.

A model gig or two is probably not going to do it, especially if people are only hiring her out of pity (I'm not involved with that niche, so I don't know how she stacks up with what is out there).

Also, there are women's assistance programs that might help, and if she makes a compelling case to her mortgage company, they possibly can reschedule her payments, etc.
