The first image shows the date and time that this pic was taken. At 10:20pm it was pitch black on the Oregon coast. I had to guess where the huge ass rock was because I couldn't even see it in the camera viewfinder.
Nice long exposure...You can see the stars streaking in the sky.
I love this shot....But I just got home from a long ass drive and now, I'm going to bed.

actually.. i was gonna say it's a nice shot..... only thing i recommend when shooting stars is use the timer or an external trigger as i call it so the camera doesn't shake to get the stars in focus.. and try not to center the shot so the you dont have a main focus so the eye moves around and sees image as a whole rather just the hillOriginally posted by AaronMI'm posting this on bahalf of abyss_al.

Perhaps you missed the part about it being pitch black and I could not even see the rock through the viewfinder?
