You're forgetting the fact that they were not actually making 500k. They had affiliates whom were paid a very large portion of that plus processing fee from the billing solutions they used.
Their first year I think the court papers said they made $30k with no affiliates.. So I'd almost be willing to bet after affiliates were paid their percentage Xc probably had maybe $150k to $200k if they were lucky in the second year. It doesn't seem like they were generating the main precentage of the cash that resualted in the growth increase in the second year..Seems to me like it was from affiliates.
