I am fully proud and completely appreciate our contribution to a war we never started. Every week here now we have a funeral for a soldier(s) who died in someone else's war. We should be proud of their accomplishment.
A few weeks ago we had a Taliban leader asking his former followers to stop fighting because he realized how moral and considerate the Canadian soldiers were ... he had anemia for years and the Canadians curied him of it.
We sent out soldiers there in green military fatigues, dispite the fact that the desert is beige. I am totally proud of what our limited forces have accomplished.

Afghanistan was everyone's war.. remember it was a joint venture from the start as the US had world support for Afghan because it was part of the real war aginst Terrorism. Iraq is a diffrent story, but don't say Afghan was someone elses war because it isn't now nor was it ever.
