Shemale is a derogatory term, and isn't really something used by the GLBT community.
"Tranny" is short for "Transvestite", or a person that dresses and lives as the opposite sex. After a person gets sexual reassignment surgery, they're called "Transexuals".
A blanket term, which is the most politically correct and least likely to get you beat up by a nasty mean old tranny, is "Transgendered". |
