I personally believe that consenting adult(s) should be able to do whatever they want with their own bodies, be it sex, mutilation, drug abuse, etc. Putting a limit on one thing (illicit drug use) is just a slippery slope and will eventually lead to other things being ?outlawed? (viewing pornographic movies) which ultimately leads to the situation becoming worse for all parties involved when further activities are banned or outlawed and so-forth. In another post, someone brought up that when the Christian right tried to get alcohol banned, it only led to bootlegging and true criminal activities (mob formed to sell the booze), which led to many people loosing their lives over tainted alcohol.

To put a cap on what a consenting adult can do with his or her own body is truly scary; it makes us less than free.
