Wish to hell I got some pics from the center of an active volcano in the Caribbean. Flew in by helecopter and watched the shit and steam spewing for a few moments then got the hell out.
This eruption had buried a small town, but was evacuated except for five souls who insisted on staying.
On the side less covered in lava there were a few homes (then deserted). We brought the copter down to hover and have a close look - one home had a rock the size of a large truck dumped on the roof (the power to lift that rock out of the earth and throw it into the air has got to be massive), but otherwise undamaged and the garage doors open with a newish and untouched Volvo car inside
Kinda weird place when deserted.
