So I was sitting on a bench in the park when two Negros, a white woman, and her nigglet sit down nearby.


One of the Negros has a section of the New York Times with him on his lap.

I thought "That looks out of place."

But the mystery was soon solved.

One of the Negros pulled a cold bottle of beer out of his backpack, wrapped it in a sheet from the newspaper and handed it to the other one.

Then he did the same for himself.

I think there is a "paper bag" law in our city about drinking alcohol in public.
